We currently have three volunteers in our branch who have been trained to give talks to local groups about the RNLI. We have films about the activities of the RNLI and about the wide range of water-based activities whose participants we seek to protect.
In addition to general talks about how the RNLI saves lives at sea and on our beaches we have talks that look at some of the interesting historical lifeboats, at how women have served from early 19th century to the present day and about lifeboats funded by the Civil Service.
We can bring our own laptop, projector, speakers and screen or can plug into any facilities you may have.
